									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Figure skating pants are made out of polartech powerstretch fleece.  You can get the fleece with a smooth face and a fleecy face.  You put the smooth face out.  I was wondering if the best finish would be with serging, since I don&#8217;t have a serger (maybe I need one).</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I do it because it makes ironing sooooo much easier. Particularly on pleated skirts!  When you are talking school uniforms which get worn every day, that is A LOT of ironing you can make easier with a few minutes of sewing.</p>

I assume I would follow the same process of figuring out the allowance for the placket and then adding back in the allowance for the zipper?</p>

It really fits well over all, but I notice it is slightly tight around the arms (my daughter hasn&#8217;t complained, but I notice it when I zip it).  I only lengthened the skirt.  I wonder if it would work better to also lengthen the top portion?
