But it involved a lot of effort and when I&#8217;m ready to get rid of something, I want it gone.  Now I drop it off at our local thrift shop.;)</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m like Masha&#8230;I prefer cotton/lycra knits when I sew for the kids.  It&#8217;s relatively easy to work with and seems to hold up well.  My personal rule of thumb is to use 8-10 oz. weight fabrics for tops and dresses. 🙂</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I didn&#8217;t seal the seams in the raincoats I made and there was plenty of topstitching.  I didn&#8217;t have any issues with water seeping in.  Granted the raincoats are not worn for long out in the rain.  Usually just to/from the bus stop.;)</p>
