Sue is one of our wonderful and very reliable pattern testers, and she really goes the extra mile. Not only does she test the instructions and the fit of each style, but she also checks how our patterns fit into her wardrobe–and she shares her photos! Here she is with some of the photos she sent for our new Prado Trench Coat sewing pattern.
It was important to me that this trench coat looks great worn both buttoned and unbuttoned, worn open and relaxed as well as closed up against the cold. She’s certainly demonstrated both here!
I love how it looks worn over this dress which, if I’m not mistaken, is our Amarena Dress! For a relaxed or dressy event this combination looks great, doesn’t it? The belt with the dress looks fantastic, and I think the layered trench over it really polishes the look and gives it a perfect finish. Also love those shoes!
For more casual, everyday style she paired it with this Bento Tee that I love. The striped fabric is still relatively neutral but has a few pops of color.
And her track suit even looks great under it! I often wear the Prado Trench Coat over my gym clothes in the morning, so I’m glad I’m not the only one who wears her this coat for the way to dress up even casual styles. (Also, isn’t that a great burnt orange color on her?)
Thanks so much for sharing your photos with us, Sue!
