Over at Lisette the other day I posted an introduction to one of our newest spring patterns, the Souvenir Dress. And I talked about how it was actually inspired by the Class Picnic Blouse.
While I was sewing my dress it occurred to me that the Class Picnic Blouse can easily be made into a dress, as well. I lengthened the blouse by a couple of inches (ideally, it would land about halfway between waist and hipbone) and added a ruffle. It’s extremely easy to do, and I think the results are really cute.
So now we have matching dresses!
