Today we’re introducing a new feature on the blog, Digital Release Thursday.
We’ve heard from so many of you lately that you prefer to use our patterns in digital format and that you’re anxiously waiting for the rest of the backlist to be released in that format. So over the next several months we’ll be releasing one of our currently in-print patterns as a digital pattern each Thursday. We may miss a week here and there due to travel and other commitments, but we plan to have the whole line available in digital format for you by the end of the summer.
We’re kicking off Digital Release Thursday with an old favorite: the Hopscotch Skirt, Knit Top, + Dress pattern.
Liesl developed this pattern to coincide with the release of her City Weekend fabric collection which included a number of wonderful interlock knits. The top and dress are designed for any knit with at least 25% stretch. And the skirt features an innovative pocket detail that was inspired by the way a takeout food container closes.
You can get this pattern in digital format in the shop now. We hope you enjoy it.
Yay! I just finished this pattern for the first time and loved it! I will be looking forward to the other patterns coming out in digital as I prefer that method! So glad you are finding the time to do this–I know it must be time consuming but, it makes customers like me SO happy!

Yes, I would love to see City Weekend re-released! I’ve seen Moda do re-releases of popular prints through “favorites” type collections. They should do that with CW–it’s getting hard to find.

I second the Classic Picnic – summer is coming!
I sure wish the digital patterns were less expensive than the paper patterns. It is an extra expense to have the pattern printed at a print shop or even at home. I’ll stick with paper patterns unless there is a price savings.
Yay!!! I much prefer the digital patterns. I’m anxiously awaiting the croquet dress, so glad I didn’t give in and buy the paper pattern.

So so glad to have this in digital. I have just ordered another paper version but the digital will help preserve it as my first paper pattern is falling apart!

How funny…I far prefer paper patterns. But this is a great option for those who don’t. The Hopscotch set recently caught my eye, so I’ll be purchasing it as soon as I can along with the two new releases.
