    Tobago is a sweet little island with beautiful beaches and lots of wildlife. Your tropical girl can run free in this classic, bias-cut tank. It can be made in top or dress length. The neckline can be a classic round shape or include a cute notch. For the tinier sizes, a button or tie fastener is included for easy dressing over those baby/toddler noggins. Depending on your fabric choice, it can be barbeque casual or seaside wedding formal. The a-line style is perfect for embellishment with applique or embroidery.

    Design options include:
    Neckline: The neckline can be plain, or include a small notch.
    Length: The tank can be made in a range of lengths from hip-length top to knee-length dress.

    Suggested Fabrics

    Choose a light to medium-weight woven fashion fabric for the tank. Fabric should be prewashed prior to cutting. Note: If you are using a lightweight fabric like chiffon or voile, purchase 1/2 yard of a more stable woven for the facing. Alternatively, purchase 1/2 yard of lightweight fusible interfacing (woven or tricot), and fuse it to the wrong side of the facing pieces.

    Notions

    1/2" diameter shank-style button (3/8" to 5/8" will work) for the button loop fastener option. You will also need a thin turning tool or 1/8" wide ribbon.

    1/4" - 1/2" wide ribbon (1 yard) for the ribbon tie option.

      great versitile pattern

    I made this pattern in size 2 and size 14 and it worked great for both sizes. The instructions were easy to follow and i would purchase from oliver + s again.
