Description

This bubble romper is easy on, easy off. And it's reversible! Make them sleeveless, or with ruffle or puff sleeves. These bubbles are for babies on the go, and the moms that like a quick change. (Because we all know getting out of the house alone can be time consuming.)

Suggested Fabrics

Choose two light- to medium-weight fabrics. For best results, choose fabrics that are similar in weight and fiber content. All fabrics should be pre-washed prior to cutting.

Notions

1/4” elastic for the leg openings (all versions) and arm openings (puffed sleeved version only).

Fusible interfacing for the crotch fastener pieces.

Back closure - choose from either 1/2" diameter shank-style button (3/8" to 5/8" will work) for the button loop fastener option or 1/4" - 1/2" wide ribbon (1/2 yard) for the ribbon tie option.

Crotch fasteners - choose from either 3/8" diameter flat buttons (1/4" to 1/2" will work) for the button/buttonhole fastener option, sew-on metal snaps (3 pairs, size 2 or 3), or snap pliers and press-on snaps (3 pairs, size #15, #16, or #17).

Wash-Away Wondertape for holding the crotch pieces in place during stitching (optional, but highly recommended).
