Average rating: (5 of 5) based on 1 reviewsGood video for learning new techniquesReviewed by Kerriilyn on 02/23/2015I own a few sewing video's which I have found useful because sometimes seeing something done is the best way to 'catch on' quickly. The Pros: This video has good solid straight forward instructions. It is presented in a mature but caring manner. There are lots of samples and reasons why (which I really do like). The samples are very clear with contrasting thread so you can see exactly what she has done. There are a good amount of very close up views too. Liesl has given good tips for getting a really nice finish. I came away encouraged that I could do a good job of those few things I have never done. The cons (they are minor): Some may find the background (the studio walls with tear sheets, sketches and samples etc) a little distracting, I didn't. Liesl looks at her work most of the time, not you, which I was not so fussed on.Was this helpful?
