Description

The Marco Shirt is a classic men's shirt pattern that can be worn tucked in and businesslike or un-tucked and casual. Select muted colors and small prints for the serious guys, or go crazy with bolder prints for the man who is more daring. Marco can also be made in extra -long length which makes a great pool coverup or shirt dress for women.

The collar is attached to the shirt via a collar stand. The shirt front and back pieces are connected by a back yoke piece. There are two small pleats in the shirt back piece. The cuff placket neatly covers the slit in the sleeve.

Suggested Fabrics

Use light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilter’s cottons, broadcloth, gingham, shirtings. Pre-wash and dry prior to cutting and sewing.
