      OMG LOVE THIS PATTERN
Reviewed by kylie crettenden@gmail.com ( Verified Buyer) on 06/23/2019
SO far I have made 2 pairs of the pants for this winter, first in a wine whale cord and the second in velet . My girl is 3 years old, I went with size 4 as she is very tall. The fit is perfect! I know it would be as Oliver and S patterns are made so well. I find the PDF pattern works best for me, Just print and tape! Directions are very clear. Thanks again for a GREAT PATTERN

      The After-School Pants are Fabulous!
Reviewed by Mary Jane C. ( Verified Buyer) on 11/28/2017
I've made 3 pairs of after-school pants for my friend's 3 year old daughter and we are both thrilled with the pattern. I love the jeans-type styling and the cute ruffle and contrasting-fabric details. The pattern is perfectly drafted and the instructions are very easy to follow. And the sizing is just right - I chose based on her waist size and the fit is perfect. Love it!!

Pants are great and easy to resize
Reviewed by Robina ( Verified Buyer) on 05/16/2017
I wouldn't say my kids are particularly tall but I followed the sizing information and made the size 6 with the length of size 8 for my son and size 8 with the length of size 10 for my daughter. Both turned out great. The pants are a little slimmer fitting than previous pants I have made them, but still plenty of room to run, jump and sit. I have made 3 pairs of these pants with another planned, and expect I'll also use them as a shorts pattern in summer.

      After school PJ shirt
Reviewed by Åshild ( Verified Buyer) on 01/07/2017
I used this shirt pattern for my daughter´s flanell Christmas PJs. I made size 18-24m lengthened to 3y. I found it to still be quite wide but not nearly long enough for a PJ top. I amended by adding a cuff to the bottom fashioned after the leg cuffs of the sleepover PJs but without turning it up. That worked really well and I am so happy with the result! The pattern was easy to follow and I am excited to use it again, both for more PJs (may add cuffs to the sleeves to complete the look) but also for day wear. I would also like to try the pants when I find the time. Thank you for yet another well made pattern.

      boy pants
Reviewed by mandy adams ( Verified Buyer) on 08/23/2016
I have an 18 month boy who wears a 3T in this pattern (his dad is 6'4") and i am due to have a little girl in 2 weeks, so I have been stocking up on fairly gender neutral patterns. I have sewn the pants 4 times now, and love them! they will be a staple this winter. I can't wait to add ruffles and make the shirt for my little girl! Later. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the pant yoke, I have trouble with it every time, usually the length. Not so much that I can't adjust to make the pants turn out, but enough to aggravate. I've started waiting to cut that piece til I need it. Pretty sure it's something I'm doing, but 4 pants later I've only learned how to get around the problem, not what I'm doing wrong. But they are super cute, especially in fine whale corduroy!

Cute but perhaps a bit too much detail
Reviewed by Beth Everson ( Verified Buyer) on 02/12/2016
The fit of the blouse was very accurate as well as great instructions for the assembly. I would suggest a slight alteration in the yoke as it can be confusing for a child to tell the back from the front of this top when they both have the same button detail with very little visible difference between the sides. It would have been simpler to assemble with less mix ups from the wearer if the back yoke were all one piece with the buttons limited to the front of the blouse.

      Best Kids Pants Pattern Ever
    Reviewed by Stephanie on 02/06/2015
I have been sewing these pants for my kids for 3+ years now. I have made more than a dozen pairs. The pattern is so fabulous for both boys (just leave the ruffles off) and girls. I love how I can mix different prints for the panels and pockets. The details of this pattern and the top-stitching make the finished results just beautiful.

      Lovely and Simple Pattern
Reviewed by Louise Ayers on 12/29/2014
I haven't tried making the pants yet, but I was able to make two shirts in record time for my girls to wear on Christmas morning. Even with a few errors that had nothing to do with the pattern and everything to do with me - I messed up sewing the yokes twice, and picked buttons that were too large - it was relatively stress-free and quick, and made a gorgeous and comfortable finished product.

  • Errata

    1. In the first printing of the paper version of this pattern, there was an error in the first column of Page 3. Step 1 under the heading "Prepare the front pants (all views)" should read, "Pin one cut front pocket lining to one cut pants front, with right sides facing and matching the pieces' curved pocket edge and top edge." This error has been corrected in the digital version of the pattern that is now available.
    2. In the first printing of the paper version of this pattern, there was an error in the third column of Page 3. Step 1 under the heading "Prepare the side panel" includes the partial sentence, "(Note that the topstitching". Please ignore this text. It should have been deleted from the instructions. This error has been corrected in the digital version of the pattern that is now available.

    Determining Which Printing You Have

As errata are discovered, they are marked for correction in subsequent printings of the pattern. To determine which printing of an instruction sheet or pattern sheet you have, look at the copyright box which appears on each. Toward the bottom of the box, there is a series of numbers.

The lowest number you see there indicates which printing you have. For example, if the lowest number in the box on the instruction sheet is "2," you have an instruction sheet from the second printing. Any errors in the instructions mentioned for the first printing have been corrected in your version. If the lowest number in the box on the pattern sheet is "1," you have a copy of the pattern sheet from the first printing.

Pattern sheets and instructions sheets can be printed separately, so be sure to check the errata notices for pattern pieces against the printing number on the pattern sheet and errata notices for instructions against the printing number on the instruction sheet.
