Apparently there is a saying in futbol–meaning soccer– the essence of which is that a futbol team is a short blanket and if you pull it up high enough to have strong offense and score a goal, you leave your feet exposed and don’t have strong enough defense to protect yourself from the other team scoring a goal. You always have to prioritize one or the other.<\/p>\n

I feel that way sometimes about running this small company. I can either spend my time developing new patterns or I can be here doing social media, connecting with you,\u00a0 and marketing to be visible and to sell the patterns we have.<\/p>\n

It’s so difficult to do both! Sometimes it feels impossible.<\/p>\n

In any case, I’m still here, trying to catch up on the fall patterns after our first very successful Creative Madrid tour (more on that later!), and I just looked up to discover that it’s May already!?!
