The famous Shelley<\/a> is back today with yet another terrific sewing project, this time using leftovers from her last project, the barnyard Chaval Coat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Toddler<\/a><\/p>\n

Here is what she had to say about this one, a toddler jacket.<\/p>\n

I had leftover quilted lining from my Chaval Coat<\/a>, so I used the School Days Jacket pattern<\/a>, using the quilted under-vest with sleeves. I added a little bit of width at the center- front so it could overlap with snaps.<\/p>\n

Then, because toddlers have got to have pockets, I put the gorgeous gathered pockets from the Puppet Show Shorts<\/a> on the front.<\/p>\n

I definitely don’t recommend anyone uses pleather bias binding as it’s a beast to sew, but otherwise a super cute, quick and easy jacket from leftovers!<\/p>\n
