If you follow me on Instagram<\/a>, you may remember some photos from our trip to San Francisco at the start of last month to do some filming in the Creativebug<\/a> studios. I’m happy to report that the results of that trip are starting to become available!<\/p>\n

My fabric shoelaces workshop<\/a> will show you how to use your fabric scraps (you’ll need less than 1\/4 yard for each pair!) to make a fun pair of shoelaces to customize your favorite weekend footwear. I have a pair of these shoelaces in the sneakers I wore around the neighborhood this weekend, and they got immortalized the other day in an Instagram photo<\/a>. (And I totally win for having the most stylish footwear of the afternoon there, but I suppose voting is still open if you’re so inclined.)<\/p>\n

My smocked necklace workshop<\/a> will show you how to make this fun necklace that I’ve been making for myself lately. As I mentioned before (here<\/a> and here<\/a>), I’ve recently started experimenting with smocking on a small scale. This project is a great introduction to the craft. It’s actually how I started out. It’s a quick, simple project that lets you try your hand at smocking and leaves you with a fun necklace that you can wear with just about anything. I always get compliments when I wear mine.<\/p>\n
