I think it&#8217;s why you love our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/oliverands\/\" target=\"_blank\">Flickr group<\/a> so much! With the release of the new fall patterns, I thought it would be nice to give a few of our favorite bloggers an early shot at creating their own version of the new patterns. I hope it will help you to visualize some of the many different directions you can take the\u00a0 patterns as you start your own planning.<\/p>\n<p>Today we&#8217;ll start with Rachel Le Grand, over at Nest Full of Eggs. You remember Rachel, right? She of the <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/color-blocking-101.html\">two fabulous color-blocked Roller Skate Dresses<\/a>? Yes, <em>that<\/em> Rachel. Rachel committed to sewing all three of the patterns in just a few weeks. (I suspect that she doesn&#8217;t sleep!) Since she has fantastic taste, I could hardly wait to see what she did with the patterns. It&#8217;s gorgeous.<\/p>\n<p>You might also have noticed that some of our pattern testers have posted photos of their fall creations in the Flickr group, like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/po-prior\/9655691487\/in\/pool-694451@N21\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jeanne of Night Knitter<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sayiamyou\/9648086051\/\" target=\"_blank\">Melani<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sayiamyou\/9648080675\/in\/pool-oliverands\" target=\"_blank\">Johanna<\/a> (who also sewed a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/johanna_e_olson\/9652891038\/in\/pool-oliverands\" target=\"_blank\">second version<\/a> of the dress that appears to have been worn for the first day of first grade&#8211;what a milestone!)<\/p>\n<p>Are you getting ideas yet?
