For the last several months, all of us around the world have been living through times that were unimaginable just a short while ago. We feel extremely fortunate and grateful for our health and the well being of family and friends right now.<\/p>\n

Not everyone is as fortunate. From illness, to the loss of loved ones, to economic difficulties, many people around the world are suffering.<\/p>\n

Here in Madrid, our home, the economic hardship from the closure of the economy is taking a toll on families. The Madrid Food Bank<\/a>, a nonprofit organization that provides food to centers serving those in need, is facing exceptional demand right now. As a result, they are currently raising emergency funding to provide an additional 1,000,000 kilograms of basic food supplies this month.<\/p>\n
