We\u2019ve got Anne from Sew Anne Sew<\/a> with us today. Anne\u2019s meticulous sewing has been featured in our round-ups here<\/a> and here<\/a>. She has a tutorial on making two pairs of shorts from the same pattern. And with that, here is Anne!<\/em><\/p>\n

I was thrilled to be asked to share this tutorial on the Oliver + S blog! The other day my daughter mentioned that she needed some more shorts. I immediately thought, no way! School is starting in a week\u2026it\u2019s basically fall! Then I remembered that it isn\u2019t fall and it\u2019s going to be hot forever because we live in the South. We still have months of shorts appropriate weather. Because school is starting so soon I wanted these shorts to be nicer. Something that made my children look put together rather than thrown together while still being comfortable.<\/p>\n

I decided to use the Sunny Day Shorts<\/a> pattern. I knew the Sunny Day shorts would be perfect for this project because the fit is just right and the possibilities are endless with this basic pattern!<\/p>\n

Because my kids have different needs and different styles, I designed two very different pairs of shorts based on the Sunny Day Shorts pattern.<\/p>\n
