Robert Kaufman Fabrics<\/a> is probably best known for their Kona Cottons, which are used by many of us because they come in a wonderful range of solid colors, three hundred and three to be exact! Every year they do a Kona color of the year. I don\u2019t know how long Robert Kaufman has been doing a Kona color of the year, but last year the Kona color was a yellow named Highlight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 2017 Kona color of the year is Pink Flamingo<\/a> and it has been described as a vibrant, clean, and perfectly playful pink. It translates easily to girl\u2019s fashion and therefore sewing for girls.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve put together some examples on how to add some Pink Flamingo to girl Oliver + S patterns to get your creative juices flowing.<\/p>\n
