Brittney didn\u2019t sew just one dress, but several items! I live in the southwest corner of Utah, a short drive from gorgeous national parks like Zion&#8217;s and Bryce Canyon or Las Vegas, depending on your preference. I haven&#8217;t been further east or north than Utah, apparently we are not much of a traveling family but when we do it is to the west coast.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite fabric store is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/RaspberryCreekFabric\" target=\"_blank\">Raspberry Creek Fabric<\/a>, I probably purchase 85% of my fabric there as she carries a wide range of substrates.<\/p>\n<p>I taught myself to sew about five and a half years ago, just before I had my twins. My first sewing machine was actually my husband&#8217;s. He had one when we got married that he used to make simple repairs on his clothes and I eventually took it over. I have since upgraded and added a serger to my room. I love sewing with wovens, but don&#8217;t mind the instant gratification of a knit project.<\/p>\n<p><em>Come back here on Friday when we\u2019ll have the next book tour participant.
