Today we return with our second idea in our Drawstring Bag series. Let me introduce you to Anne-Sophie<\/a>. You can follow her on Instagram<\/a> and Pinterest<\/a>. She took the drawstring bag pattern and transformed it into a backpack. A quick little tip is to add a chest clip in the front to keep the straps on your shoulders.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Drawstring Bag is a great and simple pattern that allows you to make plenty of different useful versions!<\/p>\n

First of all, enlarge the pattern to make it bigger. This bag is 2 \u00bd inches wider and 5 \u00bd inches longer than the original pattern.<\/p>\n

It has two loops at the bottom, there is only one long string which is about 90 inches long and a knot closes the big loop made by the string.<\/p>\n

The interior pocket is meant to be a shoe pocket. The pleat allows the shoes to enter into the pocket. The finished pocket dimensions are 11 \u00bd inches by 14 inches. I sewed this pocket and the button tab prior to assemble the lining.<\/p>\n
