Today it\u2019s all about ready-to-wear inspiration, and who doesn\u2019t love a bit of inspiration? Thousands of ideas for sewing girl\u2019s clothing can be found on the Oliver + S Pinterest boards (just take a look here<\/a> and here<\/a>). Collect some inspirational images and sew-it-yourself with Oliver + S!<\/p>\n

Our friend Deb was inspired by a photo of a dress<\/a> and wanted to recreate the look. She grabbed the Fairy Tale Dress<\/a> (used the box pleats tutorial<\/a>) and added the Garden Party Dress<\/a> sleeves and look at the chic results<\/a>!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s just one of many fantastic examples of what can be done. I\u2019ve gathered here for you today several examples on how you could reproduce a look using Oliver + S patterns. Off we go!<\/p>\n

1)<\/strong> First up, these skirts<\/a> would be sure to brighten up anyone\u2019s day! Make them by using some fun fabric and the Hopscotch Skirt<\/a> pattern.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong> How about a sweet Butterfly Blouse<\/a> with pintucks<\/a>? Check out our tutorials here<\/a> and here<\/a> for help.<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong> I think the Hide-and-Seek Dress<\/a> would be a good one to reproduce this frock<\/a>. Use chambray and do some hand embroidery (or use a floral print for the yoke).<\/p>\n

4)<\/strong> Next, make a darling Playtime Dress<\/a>, but sleeveless<\/a>.<\/p>\n

5)<\/strong> Sew a Hopscotch Dress<\/a> with contrast binding to look like this one<\/a>.<\/p>\n

6)<\/strong> The Music Class Blouse<\/a> and one of our skirts should do the trick. The Swingset Skirt<\/a> would produce a very similar look<\/a>, I think.<\/p>\n

7)<\/strong> And finally, sew a Forest Path Cape<\/a> (or the Woodland Stroll Cape<\/a>) as a spring (or fall) jacket<\/a>.<\/p>\n
