{"id":3602,"date":"2012-03-02T12:02:09","date_gmt":"2012-03-02T17:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oliverands.com\/blog\/?p=3602"},"modified":"2018-11-28T13:44:15","modified_gmt":"2018-11-28T18:44:15","slug":"class-picnic-blouse-as-dress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oliverands.com\/community\/blog\/2012\/03\/class-picnic-blouse-as-dress.html","title":{"rendered":"class picnic blouse as dress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over at Lisette the other day I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/introducing-the-souvenir-dress-blouse-and-shorts\/\">posted an introduction to one of our newest spring patterns<\/a>, the Souvenir Dress. And I talked about how it was actually inspired by the <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/patterns\/pants\/patterns25.phtml\">Class Picnic Blouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While I was sewing my dress it occurred to me that the Class Picnic Blouse can easily be made into a dress, as well. I lengthened the blouse by a couple of inches (ideally, it would land about halfway between waist and hipbone) and added a ruffle.
