October is a popular month for costume sewing, so we couldn\u2019t leave it without a little costume round-up. To view a larger collection be sure to check out Liesl\u2019s Halloween sewing with Oliver + S Pinterest board<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First up we have Stacy who created a peacock costume<\/a> using the tutu pattern from the Little Things to Sew<\/a> book. You can see the modifications she made to the tutu on her blog post here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here we have Sheriff Woody<\/a> from the Toy Story movies that Teri<\/a> made with a little help from an Art Museum Vest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Next up, Lee created these cat and witch costumes<\/a>, using the School Bus T-shirt<\/a> and Roller Skate Dress<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Frozen movie phenomenon has taken the world by snowstorm, if the special girl in your life wants to be an ice princess, check out our Elsa dress round-up<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With all of the Elsa dresses out there, we didn\u2019t want her sister, Anna, to get left out in the cold! Here are some Anna dresses to inspire you.<\/p>\n

Brittney<\/a> painted the decoration<\/a> on the front bodice of this modified Fairy Tale Dress<\/a> with Library Dress<\/a> sleeves.<\/p>\n

Finally, we have Emily who made two versions. The first one<\/a> was made using the Garden Party Dress<\/a> with Apple Picking Dress<\/a> sleeves.<\/p>\n

The second one<\/a> was sewn using the Fairy Tail Dress also with Apple Picking Dress sleeves.<\/p>\n

If you need a quick costume how about a Cozy Winter Hood from the Little Things to Sew book? If you have more time you can pair it with some Animal Tail Shorts<\/a>. The outfit could be made complete with a School Bus T-shirt.<\/p>\n
