I hope you will join us in a few weeks when we will be hosting one. We have four talented ladies who will be helping out. <a href=\"http:\/\/socalsewingmom.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Janice<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sewingstashchallenge.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Deb<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/sweetpeaandpumkins.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sharon<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/lilypadmontana.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Amanda<\/a> are each going to take a day of the sew-along. With this sew-along there\u2019s something for everyone as there are quite a few options. Sew a raincoat or a winter jacket. Sew for a boy or a girl. Sew one in sizes 6M-8.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/schooldaysjacketTITLE.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-12832\" src=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/blog\/content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/schooldaysjacketTITLE-542x800.jpg\" alt=\"The Oliver + S School Days Jacket Sew-Along\" width=\"542\" height=\"800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacket description:<\/strong><br \/>\nGirl&#8217;s or boy&#8217;s jacket or coat. Hooded jacket or coat includes full lining, patch pockets, snap or Velcro closure, and two choices of duffle closure details. Optional removable quilted lining can be made with or without sleeves for additional warmth, and features buttons and elastic loops for attaching the lining to the jacket, as well as bias binding at the edges.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Before starting the sew-along:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy your pattern<\/li>\n<li>Determine what size to make<\/li>\n<li>Purchase your fabric<\/li>\n<li>Get pattern pieces ready<\/li>\n<li>Cut fabric and transfer markings<\/li>\n<li>Review instructions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>School Days Jacket Sew-Along schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Day 1: fabric selection, assemble the hood, assemble the front-jacket panels<\/li>\n<li>Day 2: assemble back jacket, sew shoulder and side seams, sew and attach patch pockets<\/li>\n<li>Day 3: prepare and attach sleeves, prepare lining and facing, assemble the jacket, hood, and lining<\/li>\n<li>Day 4: finish the jacket, optional insulated
