Elsa dresses are everywhere! Very creative people have been using several different Oliver + S patterns to create ice princess dresses for the special girls in their lives. Enjoy this collection of Elsa dresses.<\/p>\n<p>First up from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/73669617@N07\/12423162124\/in\/pool-oliverands\" target=\"_blank\">with love, heidi<\/a> we have a <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/product\/OLV-OS020HSD.html\">Hopscotch Dress<\/a>. She used white and light blue cotton jersey for the top and the skirt overlay is iridescent tissue taffeta. The fabric is blue shot cotton with a light blue overlay on the skirt. She used a cotton\/linen blend for the lining and covered that with a sheer silver\/blue curtain that she found at Ikea. She cut all of the pattern pieces out in both fabrics and sewed them together before starting to assemble the dress. She hand stitched sequins onto the two bands in the front. The final touch is a sheer and sparkly cape that she sewed on the back, which is a little bit longer than the hemline.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11415\" src=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/blog\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED5-580x580.jpg\" alt=\"Elsa Dress made from Oliver + S Garden Party Dress\" width=\"580\" height=\"580\" srcset=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED5-580x580.jpg 580w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED5-150x150.jpg 150w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED5-275x275.jpg 275w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED5.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A collection of fairy tale dresses would not be complete without a <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/product\/OLV-OS036FT.html\">Fairy Tale Dress<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/17724646@N00\/14105789158\/in\/pool-oliverands\" target=\"_blank\">Lizvancura<\/a> used a pale blue raw silk for the main of the dress, overlain with organza for the sleeves and overskirt, and a very shiny and sparkly overlay for the bodice. A few snowflake buttons were used for attaching the removable train in the back. She used snowflake patterned organza for the train and a white lawn cotton to cut out a dozen different snowflakes, which were appliqued onto the under skirt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11416\" src=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/blog\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED7-450x800.jpg\" alt=\"Elsa Dress made from Oliver + S Fairy Tale Dress\" width=\"450\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED7-450x800.jpg 450w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED7-154x275.jpg 154w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/ED7.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finally, you must go visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/77727582@N02\/13917333651\/in\/pool-oliverands\" target=\"_blank\">jubilantloulou<\/a> who created one using the <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/product\/OLV-OS045HS.html\">Hide-and-Seek Dress<\/a> with glitter satin fabric. On <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/77727582@N02\/13940469685\/in\/pool-oliverands\" target=\"_blank\">the back<\/a> she did freezer paper stenciled snowflakes with glitter and glue.<\/p>\n<p>Beautiful aren&#8217;t they?
