You might remember Rachel from some of her previous contributions here. We originally featured her <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/2013\/07\/color-blocking-101.html\">two color blocked Roller Skate Dresses<\/a> in Liesl&#8217;s color blocking tutorial last summer. Then Rachel applied her color blocking expertise to her tenth (!) Fairy Tale Dress and provided <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/2013\/10\/customizing-with-oliver-s-the-10-stripes-fairy-tale-dress.html\">a fun tutorial<\/a> on the process. Kristin invited Rachel back last fall to talk about <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/2013\/12\/my-favorite-oliver-s-pattern-rachel-from-nest-full-of-eggs.html\">her favorite Oliver + S pattern<\/a>, and she returned earlier this year with a great idea for using our free Reversible Bucket Hat pattern to make a <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/2014\/01\/18-inch-doll-skirt-tutorial.html\">skirt for an 18-inch doll<\/a>. We&#8217;ve always loved Rachel&#8217;s work and her blog, and we&#8217;re excited that she&#8217;ll be joining us regularly on the Oliver + S blog. Here&#8217;s Rachel to introduce herself.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Hello, I&#8217;m Rachel and I look forward to working as a contributor in this space. I live in Minnesota with my husband and three children. I started sewing with Oliver + S patterns back in December 2009. Something that Oliver + S and I have in common is that we both contributed to <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/2011\/11\/meet-giulia-and-see-her-work-in-the-burdastyle-sewing-handbook.html\">The BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook<\/a>. If I were an Oliver + S paper doll, I would choose to wear the <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/product\/OLV-OS019SC.html\">School Photo Dress<\/a>. I share the same initials as Ralph Lauren. And I cannot live without my dark chocolate sewing snacks!<\/p>\n<p>I would love to hear from you about what your favorite thing about the Oliver + S blog is.
