I scaled the pattern down to fit an 18 inch doll, made Samantha&#8217;s dress, and promptly forgot about the doll-sized pattern.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Standing2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1111\" title=\"Standing2\" src=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Standing2-257x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"257\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Standing2-257x400.jpg 257w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Standing2-177x275.jpg 177w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Standing2.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 257px) 100vw, 257px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last week I was going through some files and came across the pattern again. We thought there might be other little girls who would enjoy having a matching Popover Sundress for their favorite doll, so we&#8217;re <a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/free-patterns\/popover-sundress\/\">making the pattern available as a free download<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oliverands.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Bodice.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1090\" title=\"Bodice\" src=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Bodice-400x316.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"316\" srcset=\"\/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Bodice-400x316.jpg 400w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Bodice-275x217.jpg 275w, \/\/o.osimg.net\/community\/content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Bodice.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Like the original sewing pattern, this is a simple and quick item to sew.
