The Oliver + S Flickr group<\/a> has been bursting\u00a0with your beautiful Easter sewing lately, and Liesl and I wanted to feature some of our favorites today. \u00a0It feels so good to throw winter aside and sew in springy\u00a0colors and light fabrics again, doesn’t it?<\/p>\n

We’ll start with this adorable sibling duo. \u00a0Big sis wears a Fairy Tale Dress<\/a> and little brother wears an Art Museum Vest<\/a> and Sketchbook Shorts<\/a> (such a great pairing and so cute in\u00a0seersucker!). \u00a0You can read more about the dress here<\/a> and the little guy’s outfit here<\/a>, sewn by Jessica.<\/p>\n

Next up is this little sweetie in a cheery yellow eyelet Bubble Dress! \u00a0Sewn by Flickr user Terri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Easter is a great time to sew with\u00a0pink! \u00a0The little lady on the left is in a ruffly Fairy Tale Dress by Sharon<\/a>, and the little cutie\u00a0on the right is in a pink eyelet Family Reunion Dress<\/a> with colorblocking by Jenny<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A classic trio of gorgeous heirloom dresses by a grandmother for her granddaughters, these three beauties were sewn by flickr user Donna Haskins<\/a> and include variations on the Garden Party<\/a> and Fairy Tale\u00a0patterns, including smocking, pintucks, and a satin ribbon sash. Such amazing detail!<\/p>\n

The Hide-And-Seek Dress<\/a>\u00a0displays its easy-to-wear versatility, as Lucinda<\/a> shows\u00a0on the left with beautiful handstitching (more about that here<\/a>), and Kelly<\/a> shows on the right with\u00a0gorgeous Liberty lawn and\u00a0chambray yokes.<\/p>\n

And finally, more Fairy Tale Dresses<\/a>! \u00a0It’s a fancy dress for a fancy occasion. \u00a0On the left is a pretty eyelet version with fuscia accents by Ashley<\/a>, and on the right is a lovely floral version by Brittany<\/a>.<\/p>\n
