She wears them instead of tights in the winter, and she also wears them as an extra layer of insulation when it gets really cold out&#8211;like long underwear. (This winter they&#8217;ve gotten a lot of use.) But during the rest of the year, we make a lot of &#8220;playground shorts&#8221; because she wears them under her skirts and dresses.
