<p>I bought a Gertie border print and now my daughter is in a size that to use border prints, I need a waist seam in the pattern.  I am eagerly awaiting the twirling dress.  It is in some ways a simplified version of fairy tale (in a good way), it seems. Chubby little girls tend to have big tummies, which this dress would disguise well, if you add to the back it may get &#8216;tenty&#8217; and lose the original look.</p>

I especially love that close fit at the chest &#8211; no slipping or gaping!  This has definitely landed the pattern on my wish list.  Even at my thinnest I am in the smallest size, right now I&#8217;d need to go up, so it seems a good investment.</p>
