What are your thoughts on sewing for a crawling baby? I had planned to make my first dress (Music Box Jumper) and then realized that crawling and dresses might not jive. Should I just wait or make a very short dress, Polly Flinders style?

Hello!

I am doing a little fabric shopping for the Music Box Jumper… What do you think, would cotton lawn be an appropriate choice or would it be too thin? I am very much a beginner at garment making, if that helps.

Thank you!
