I’ve made the Lisboa walking shorts several times; love them, so comfortable and a bit tailored with the lovely front pockets. I would like to use the pattern and lengthen the legs to culotte length. The fabric I have in mind is a drapey subtle striped wool or wool blend. Any advice? Any reason not to try this?

I am about to begin sewing a Yanaka Jacket in a lovely brocade. I expect that I will need to alter for my bicep. Should I do this in the underarm area of the gusset and the back part of the top sleeve?
