View A is not the easiest pattern to adjust because of the 2 layers, but it can be done. View B might be easier. I think you need to start at a 4, do an FBA and grade out the bottom of the pattern to a size 16.

Hi There, sometimes it’s better to go by measurements rather than cup size. Measure your full bust and your high bust. Look at the difference between the 2 numbers. If it’s more than 2 1/2″ you may want to do an FBA.

Use your high bust measurement as your bust measurement. As an example, for the Gallery Tunic my full bust measurement is a size 20, but my high bust measurement is a 16. I sewed the 16 and added a full bust adjustment. This means the shoulders fit far better. Does that help?

Hi Sarvi, I’ve made this top twice now in knit and done some kind of FBA each time. But I add 1 1/4″, not 3/4″. I did a traditional FBA, but because of the drape of the knit, the dart ended up under my bust.

That didn’t answer your question. I think it depends on how stretchy your knit is. It’s a fun sew, reminds me of the sailboat top.
