Ah! Just found this topic. Good tip on the Chinese New Year doll! I’m Chinese and my kids are mixed so I’m always on the lookout for Asian looking dolls as well. My only challenge / difficulty has been that the dolls all seem more ‘straight up Asian’ with dark black hair, but my daughter’s hair is dark brown. I’m considering this doll: http://store.americangirl.com/agshop/html/set/id/1704/uid/120 but my husband might freak out when he sees the price :).

I love the pool idea! My son is 6 now and I never sewed for him really as I’m not that confident in my skills on boys clothes. My little girl is 3 and she is the one I started learning to sew so I can make cute dresses for her. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time so I haven’t made much. This is probably why nothing I’ve made haven’t gone anywhere. I would love to be able to receive any of the items I have seen you ladies post on flickr as they are amazing work compared to my newbie skills! Sadly, I’m not sure I would be much help in terms of making anything to pass up, but I guess I will eventually be able to pass down as well….

Hello. The music box jumper was my first oliver amd s dress and I blogged about it to help me remember the steps and my goof ups. Hello, I wanted to check in on the digital patterns as I didn’t see any news about it in September. Will you be releasing all the patterns digitally as well or just a select few? I’m hoping you will offer everything (old & new) digitally at some point!
