I know this is an old post, but I am having the same issue with the lisette pajama pants. The rise is too long but if I roll the top they are perfect. I would shorten like you instructed, but the pattern has a back yoke and pockets which I believe will be impacted if I just shorten it from the waistband. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Thank you! Great job on both. I found a link with some pretty good instructions that I will post in case anyone else wants to try this. I have just made a muslim, but so far it seems to be working. The zipper extends up into the collar. I have only had to rearrange a few of the steps in the pattern and alter the pattern slightly to make it…[Read more]

Has anyone tried to place a zipper in the top? Like a typical fleece pullover. I am thinking of placing one in the “v” section and extending up the collar. So when zipped the collar stands up. Does that make sense? Just wondering before I start practicing this morning. Thanks!

Thanks for the thoughts. I will check out the Kwik Sew pattern. I haven’t tried one in many years. I am spoiled with Liesl’s patterns. They are the only ones I have use.

Does anyone know of a good pattern for women’s pajamas? Or could any of the current patterns here be altered? I’m looking for a traditional pants and button down shirt. More of a men’s style, but for women. Thanks!
