Just finished hemming and held the tunic up and Aaaaarrrggh! The pockets are peeking out the bottom!!!!!!

Should I re-serge the pockets and make them a little smaller? This is a 2T but a very Drapey jersey knit.

Erin started the topic Bloomers Bias Tape and Elastic in the forum oliver + s: tea party

Did anyone else have an EXTREMELY hard time with adding the bias tape and elastic to the bloomers. It took me three times to get them acceptable enough to put on a baby w/o cutting off circulation. Has anyone increased the width of the bias tape for the bloomers to 1.5 inches?

Thanks @lightningmcstitch, luckily this was a consistent fabric pattern, but will definitely keep that in mind for future fabrics.

General, but simple question. I’m getting ready to cut out the pieces for the Lullaby pants and I noticed that I have to turn over the pattern pieces that are on a fold so that they match the cutting layout. Is this correct?

Erin started the topic Adding a lining in the forum liesl + co: cappuccino dress + tunic

I’m relatively new to sewing and most of the projects I have worked on so far have not required a lining. However, for the Cappuccino top I bought a very pretty flower pattern on voile. Its a little sheer and I think a liner may be in order. Is there a tutorial or another pattern that explains how to add a lining?

TIA!
