I ended up cutting two copies of the shelf bra portion of the pattern and finishing the steps to assemble the cami. I couldn’t quite wrap my brain around how to encase the elastic and finish it, but it worked out to stitch the chest elastic to the outside so it’s exposed like a sports bra.
