HP (Hewlett Packard) has printers that are set up to use a subscription service. The subscriptions are very affordable, $2.99/mo, $4.99/mo, and $9.99/mo.

I think Mama Knowles has it spot on. For a younger child, the shorter hemline is great. Beyond that, I have added length for tucking in…even if they chose not to tuck. A cropped shirt on an 8 or 12 year old just doesn’t pull off “cute” the same way it does for little ones. I don’t think the pattern necessarily needs revision, but perhaps just a…[Read more]

Wonderful! Thanks so much for your input! I was making this more difficult than it should be by thinking I would add length to the back bodice. It makes much more sense to cut and spread the pattern below the arm hole.

I wouldn’t have thought of that, but I have been a little stressed about those…[Read more]

So, my Ava is 12 (nearly 13, boo hoo!) and a bit tall for this pattern. Initially, I thought I would just lengthen the hemline about 3″, however, the more I looked at pictures and the drawings the more I think it might look a little out of proportion on her.

She is long and lean. She is so lean that it makes her look taller than she is. She is…[Read more]
