Where to add length

Hello, I have made this as written and it turned out beautifully. I am excited to make more, and was hoping to turn this into a maxi skirt. How would I do this with the side panels though? Adding length to the front and back seems easy enough, but the side panels are A lined and I've never done that before. Thanks for helping this (relatively) newbie out! :)
