Hello,
I'm really new to sewing. I have only sewn 3 other dresses before so this will be the 4th dress I'm making and the first Oliver & S. I am trying to figure out what these markings mean on Pattern Piece #1 on the fold line that looks like little arrows jutting out of each of the lines. They don't look like notches and I can't match them to anything else on the Pattern Marking Key. Here is a picture of the pattern with the area circled in pink that I'm confused about. What are these markings and what do I do with them?
