Translate pattern in french ???

Hello i have bought the lovely cinema dress pattern yesterday and i would want to select text in PDF to translate it in french...it does'nt work ? is it possible to obtain french translate ? or a non protected text to translate it ? Thanks, i'm very excited to begin this dress.
