Substituting Recital shirt back in Classic shirt?

Hi, I'm making a Classic shirt, but I would like to remove the back pleats and add back darts, just like on the Recital shirt. Can I substitute the Recital shirt back for the Classic shirt back? I seem to remember reading that these patterns were related. Thanks, Kathy
