Liesl, I just saw your layout in the latest Sew Beautiful. It's fabulous! I especially love the smocking on the badminton dress. I can't believe it's your first attempt. Smocking is my first sewing love, so I want to do this. Did you add any fullness to the front to accommodate the smocking? On the pattern, the fullness is intended to be evenly distributed across the top, but the smocking concentrates it in the middle few inches. Did you have to make any adjustments for that? It looks great.
