Secret Agent Buttons

I have mostly completed my Secret Agent Trench. I would like to go with single white buttons, 1” or just over - these brown ones are maybe 1 1/8” - for the dots to match up, and there is a 2” overlap of the front pieces. Should this work? Am I missing anything? This coat went together super quick and easy - If you are thinking about it - go for it!! This is a Robert Kaufman Sevenberry canvas. I underlined the sleeves with pink slippery stuff :)
