RSVSR Last Entry Guide to the Seed Vault Run
Flashpoint throws a lot at you, but Last Entry is one of those jobs that catches people out because it looks simple. It isn't. You're locked into the Seed Vault section in Stella Montis, and the whole thing only counts if you finish the chain and leave alive. That's why a lot of players go in light, move quick, and skip side greed unless they really need supplies or ARC Raiders Items before the run. The quest itself is tied to Shani, who wants proof of what went on down there, and every step sits close together. Sounds easy. Then the pressure kicks in, somebody hears the vault door, and suddenly the clean run is gone.
Find the first log before touching the vault
The cleanest route starts in the southeast part of Stella Montis, under the Cultural Archives. Most people see the big Seed Vault door and head straight for it. Don't. Your first objective is outside. There's a workstation area near the main entrance with a short set of steps and several terminals lined up. One of them will be active, usually easy to spot once you slow down for a second. Interact with that terminal and grab the researcher's log. That clears the first task and keeps the quest moving in the proper order. If you rush past it and start improvising, you'll just waste time doubling back through a place where sound travels and fights start for dumb reasons.
Grab the box key and check for a fuel cell
After the terminal, cut into the side room in the same corridor. This room matters more than it looks. You're looking for the orange hazmat suits hanging on a rack. Search there and you'll get the Seed Vault Box Key, which you need later for the documentation. A lot of players remember the key and forget the second reason to stop here: fuel cells can spawn nearby. If one's there, take it immediately. If not, then you'll need to search the utility spaces around the vault area or the tunnels near the Seed Vault Airshaft. That little detour is usually the messiest part of the mission. You're carrying something bulky, making noise, and wasting time. Not great.
Open the vault and take the document
Once you've got the fuel cell, go back to the main door and slot it into the power socket. That opens the Seed Vault and gets you into the final stretch. Inside, don't wander. Head toward the back where the terminal and storage units are set around the seed pod systems. Use the key on the correct deposit box and take the Official Shutdown Documentation. That's the item that matters. From here on, your whole mindset should change. Loot becomes secondary. Extra fighting is a bad trade. If you've got a safe pocket augment, this is exactly the kind of quest where it earns its keep, because getting dropped on the way out after doing everything right feels awful.
Best way to get out without throwing the run
The hardest part of Last Entry isn't the puzzle. It's keeping your nerve after the document is in your inventory. People get greedy, hang around, hear footsteps, panic, then lose the run. The smarter play is to turn for extract as soon as you've got what Shani asked for, with the Airshaft route usually being the obvious exit if it's available. Keep your path tight, listen more than you shoot, and only take a fight if someone forces it. If you like going in prepared, some players also use RSVSR for gear and item support before tougher runs, which makes this quest a lot less annoying when you just want a clean clear instead of a long, expensive reset. At RSVSR, we keep Arc Raiders guides sharp, useful, and easy to trust. If you're tackling Last Entry, our tips help you grab the Seed Vault Box Key, secure the Shutdown Documentation, and get out clean.
