We have decided not to include a "sew and show" forum here because the Oliver + S Flickr group already serves that purpose. Please continue to post your photos of finished garments to the Flickr group, not in the forums.
That said, there may be times when an image would help illustrate a point you are making in a forum post. If that's the case, here's how you can include an image in a post.
- Upload your photo to a photo-sharing site such as http://www.flickr.com/ , http://imageshack.us/ , or http://photobucket.com/ .
- Obtain the URL for a version of the image that is less than 500 pixels wide. (If the image is wider than that, it will not display completely.) You can typically obtain the URL for an image by by right-clicking on the image, selecting "Copy Image Location," and then pasting what you have copied.
- In your post, type this code--exactly as it appears here:
<img src="[Insert location here between the quote marks, excluding brackets]">
Your image will appear in-line with the post like this.
