Possible inconsistency in instructions for playtime leggings; help?

Hi, This is actually the first Oliver & S pattern I have sewn, even though I have purchased several. I recently purchased the digital version of the singles Playtime Leggings. I am now reading through the instructions to start sewing, and on page 3 of the instructions, under the Pattern Size Key, it states that the seam allowances are 1/4 inch unless otherwise noted. On page 4, under General Instructions, it says that the seam allowances are 1/2 inch unless otherwise noted. Help? thanks!! kathy
