Pleats on Everyday skirt

I have only made one skirt out of this pattern, but I day dream about all the possibilities. I just saw a wonderful skirt at Max Mara... really really cute... and I think I could be able to make something similar to it with this pattern. The skirt has some pleats on the front... and I was wondering if someone has tried that out.
