I've always bought commercial patterns for $1-$2 each (would only buy when on sale), so coughing up $16 for an Oliver + S pattern was pretty painful for me. I just finished sewing my first Jump Rope Dress and I have to say that these patterns are a bargain!! I got the adorable pattern, of course, but I also got a sewing lesson! I learned lots today and it was really fun. I didn't even mind sewing the skirt to the bodice for the 3rd time in a row (don't ask - LOL) because I enjoyed the pattern so much.
