To Liesl, or anyone who has seen this top in person: Could pattern piece #1 (Front Halter) be made from a different, but coordinating fabric? I have some fabric left over from another project, but not enough to do the entire halter. Since the print I have is on a white ground, I thought I might be able to do the ruffles in the leftover print & the underlying front halter piece with a solid white...do you think this would look OK?
