Hi there.... I am sure this must be an easy question, but I just can't visualize what is supposed to happen in step 2 of the mitten pattern. I know I have done something wrong because the finished mitten's thumb doesn't lie right. What does it mean to press the thumb and seam allowance toward the curved finger edge? I just can't picture what this means. Thanks very much....
